One of the most exciting things is seeing examples of how Polytab can be used in the real world by artists purchasing the material. I wanted to showcase the art of Denver-based artist, Jasmine Holmes, who used the polytab mural cloth to create a new mural at Nocturne Jazz Club. After acquiring a 2-yard piece of polytab from the store, Jasmine painted the main subject of her work comfortably in her art studio. Upon finishing, she was able to paste the painted polytab on the designated wall with matte gel from Nova Color.
Soon after, she was able to paint the abstract background to blend the two together seamlessly. The mural was able to be created without long nights on-location at a job site.
