When installing your Polytab mural on masonry or textured surfaces, keep these critical technical guidelines in mind:
Don’t Skimp on the Acrylic Gel
Smooth walls are ideal for Polytab, but real-world walls rarely come smooth. If you are dealing with rough, spackled masonry or uneven texture:

Apply an extra-liberal coat of heavy-duty matte acrylic gel to both the wall and the back of the Polytab.

Press firmly to force the gel into every microscopic crevice and porous pocket of the substrate.
Seal Every Perimeter Edge
Seasonal temperature swings cause walls to expand and contract. To prevent moisture, frost, or humidity from getting behind the cloth, apply an additional topcoat layer of acrylic gel around every outer perimeter edge. Sealing the borders locks out moisture permanently.
